does Geographical location makes difference to site rank.

hi all

one of my client is facing probs in achieving keyword results due to geographical location.....

if i checked the site rank and keyword from my location at india it show good results of keywords achieving 1 and 3 position of that keyword but my client check the same keyword from usa location its lost specific in yahoo engines is it possible ,.,.,,,,

so can any body suggest me why this thing is happeing.... till date it was very smoothly doing well and now...?

is there any updated in yahoo... or why my site does not shows particular in usa location,,,,

what is the domain extension and where is it hosted?

if .co.in or hosted in india you will see better results in indian search engines.

I see this as a fault in Search. Geolocation should be the user's choice. See this parallel thread, [webmasterworld.com...]

This domain name is <edit> usa based company.if my client checks the keywords of this site from USA location it lost in search engine (yahoo.....),if the same keyword i check from india it show good result in yahoo.....

so what should i do now....?

client want results in usa ....

domain and site is regested in usa server....
