301 Redirect Changes Title on Yahoo Results

We have redirected several sites using a 301 to one of our other sites.

Keywords pointing in to the old site and now re directed through to the new site have seemingly forced the meta title of the new site into obscurity, so that the title on the search now reflects the inward keywords of the 3rd party sites.

How can we fix that?
