Yahoo Travel - Can you do that?

Looking through the Yahoo Travel Pages, specifically the country and city guides [travel.yahoo.com...] I can see lots of photos being pulled from Flickr accounts.

Some of these photos, when looking in the credited source for these photos have copyright reserved.

I therefore wanted to asked the question if this kind of activity is okay, because it seemed to me that an artistic work was being used to derive a revenue? Are these copyright owners being rewarded?
