Please someone share some knowledge about Yahoo Penalties. My site is not getting cached by Yahoo-Slurp. The site:www.domain.com shows old titles and descriptions. When I click on cache the cached pages are not displayed.
Yahoo has cached almost all pages of the site.
The site is ranking excellently well in Google SERPs. with 2 word keywords in Top 5.
Its not sure that its a penalty - I got one, but I have no idea why, I got a ecomerce site with sales, but the site is baned from yahoo, no results from site:thedomain.com I also wrote them, but they just gave me a reply that it does not comply with there rules, I have looked through it and have no idea whats wrong, but OK yahoo is not a very big player, so Im not gonna change anything. Soon they will only have so little in the search market so they dont matter at all.
Well put. Exactly how i feel, and I know many many many webmasters and businesses who feel the same way. If yahoo wonders why they are at #3 at the end of the year, thats the reason in my opinion.
Could anyone help out to get my site back on Yahoo SERPs. Do I need to contact Yahoo. Any addresses. I have tried uploading the Sitemap. I does not work.
Also Yahoo Site Explorer shows newer pages of my site compared to site:www.domain.com results.
I would be happy if anybody can help me clarify this.

To the original question:
Yahoo is clearly either having technical problems or they are working out an upgrade to their search algo. I was at #1 on yahoo for 16 months for dozens of search terms and since Jan. 6th i've been steadily dropping, with many undeserving and outdated old sites ahead of me now. It is frustrating!
