I have a UK-targetted site, hosted in the USA, but with strong Google UK rankings (geographic location set in Webmaster Tools). It appears high in Yahoo.com but is not really relevant to the US market and it's nowhere in Yahoo.co.uk.
I don't want to jeopardise my Google rankings. I'm guessing that Yahoo probably still looks at the hosting location as the major factor. Am I right in thinking my only option is to re-locate the site to the UK? And is this likely to affect my Google UK rankings if I do?
Or is there a better way to tell Yahoo? Don't suppose there is a META-TAG yet that allows you yto specify target countries?
Many thanks,
