First Listing in Yahoo SERPs. A Yahoo redirect?

Does Yahoo Track CTR for some #1 SERPs?

This may be old news, but I couldn't find any information about this...

During a recent Yahoo search, I noticed that for a specific keyword, the #1 listing in the Yahoo serps had a link that redirected to the website instead of an actual direct link to the site. All of the other Yahoo SERPs (2 through 10) had standard direct links.

The redirect link is from Yahoo. The listing is not hijacked or spam.

I imagine that Yahoo tracks the CTRs of their results, but I didn't think it was this blatant.

Is an another example of Yahoo using human editors for their SERPS? or a slip up?

Anyone have any thoughts on what this tells us?

Likely because it is a SSP partner.

Hover over the "direct" links and hit your right mouse button, then see what happens in your browser's status bar. In Firefox, at least, you'll find that each listing is tracked - they are using Javascript code to make it look like it's a direct link.
