When will Yahoo have another update? The ast change has been horrible

Updates are usually aorund the beginning of each month, so the last one was early.

As soon as Google fully transfers it’s advertising set-up over to Yahoo. IMO it relies on the re-positioning of the natural results to drive the advertising results. Then again I actually believe Yahoo started doing this in July.
