Has anyone managed to recover ranking loss since Aug update?

Same story as several other people: rankings strong in G, MSN but completely tanked in Y! this month. I know some people benefited from the update...those who lost rankings in Yahoo, has anyone managed to recover?

I know we did a lot of blog commenting for this site, but I have done that for other sites as well that remained stable through the update.

Hi,

We are back in Yahoo! index... we lost massive rankings but at least our pages are re-indexed correctly now

What happened is that we have been de-indexed then re-indexed with no title, content (only URL where indexed)

Before we were at position 1-2, max 5 for our main keywords and now we are at end of first page / second page

I hope it will get better with the time being

Still no recovery for us. We have strong ranking in MSN and Google. It seems we were the only one affected on one of our major keywords...still have not figured out why. We have been leaving a lot of blog comments as well, but I am not convinced that is it. Any other ideas from anyone?

No one still has any news on this? I've contacted yahoo directly but they're just giving stock replies...our problems still remain, but we have other sites that are completely fine. Anyone have any suggestions of what to do? Let's just assume that the rankings were dropped by mistake...in that case, who would I speak with/what would I do?

Any help is much appreciated!

I am seeing some massive traffic losses from Yahoo as well...-50%
