Ive only just noticed when yahoo shows the result of a search and my site is in that list, the url has the "www" missing, unlike most of the other sites around it.
Does anyone know why that it?

Not for certain, but what is the canonical name of your site? Is your site accessible under different hostnames? If so, you may need to redirect the non-canonical to the main site.
