I've seen this many times over with new domains - that are very on-topic. within 1-2 months straight to the top of yahoo, hold for a couple of months, then off you toddle irrelavent of everything else.
I'm starting to use Yahoo / MSN fast, but short term exposure, as a stepping model to the longer to obtain but longer winded SERPs of G!
