I am trying to submit a site to Yahoo using the correct category suggest a site and it just keeps coming up with the explanation on how to do it, no form to enter information. I've tried this in many categories to see if it was just the one I was in that was down, but they all came up that way. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

I noticed that too when I was trying to do a regional submission. I searched further and found that all categories had the same problem. Hope it is just temporary.

I would assume it's temporary as they're losing money while it's down. Of course they might just be switching back to the free submit just to be nice... nawwww... ;) Not on your life!

Yeah, looks like some sort of redirection error on the cgi/dynamically generated link. I am sure they will get it fixed once they see no credit card orders being processed :)

Well... we are a day down the road and it's still not fixed.

I can't believe they don't know... and the longer it stays down the more my paranoia makes me believe something sinister is in the offing (we're all getting used to bad news around here!).

Even if you're paranoid, that doesn't mean they aren't out to get you

Still down... can't believe they have left it like this is everyone is affected. I just wonder if they are, or whether the inability to submit is geographically or in some other way limited.

Has anyone had any SUCCESS in accessing the submit form today?

If we can establish it works for some and not for others we can start to investigate why.

Hi all,

No joy either. I believe that this is the second day Yahoo have been having such problems.

I have also noticed that rankings for one of my websites has changed back to what it was 2 weeks ago - which is strange. Has anyone else noticed this?

Same here...no luck for the past two days, but I'm even more worried, because someone trying to submit a site to Yahoo.co.uk brought this same thing to my attention on Friday, now its happening to the US version as well.

Not a good sign.

I'm not terribly worried about it just curious. Seems to me Yahoo would fix this if it concerned them so it's got me wondering what's in store.

Sorry, the Yahoo! site suggestion process and the Yahoo! Business Express site suggestion process are currently unavailable. Please check back later.

Thats what I get now.

same here from the uk and ireland site. Click on "add url" and it just sends you to "How to Suggest Your Site ". The change info form is still on-line and working but the add form does not come up...

Ditto.... it's back up and running again with no apparent change. Maybe it was just simply technical problems.

perhaps they are going to do this sort of thing periodicaly to clear backlogs of submissions or to allow them to meet targets for biz'exp.
