SearchMonkey beta released

The Yahoo Blog announced yesterday [ysearchblog.com] the release of a 'limited preview' of their much-discussed SearchMonkey 'open' search experiment for developers.

Should be interesting to have a play with, although it's all very low key at the moment.

I got an invitation to the release party over at the yahoo campus. I went ahead and RSVP'd just for the opportunity to bumb elbows with some other peeps.
