Hello

I have noticed that Yahoo Slurp is not visiting my site anymore and my site index is zero on yahoo.

Now links on yahoo, it used to be in thousands. Google and the rest of the search engines are working fine but Yahoo's Slurp has just left my site

What should I do ?

What kind of links were they?

Are you doing any special handling for bots? Yahoo Slurp is in 3.0 version now.

I tried to see how many links was indexed in yahoo and it came up to None.

Sometime between friday we lost all of our pages in Y. The site is currently being deep spidered by slurp 3.0 and we are also using site submit basic and all 5 URL's are in "active" state and were last spidered the 19th of April.

If you do a search for our domain you get URL does not exist. Goes against all indications that site has a judgement against it.

Anybody got any similar stories or ideas?

Hello

This is exactly what has happened to my site, once i had pages around 102,000 max and on average 6,333.

I just checked my history through <snip>

How can Yahoo remove around 6,333 pages and even the original domain.

What is happening ? Yahoo slurp is not even coming to my site anymore.

I checked all my sites and I don't see a change. How are you checking exactly to see if your pages are being indexed by Yahoo? Are you sure you're doing it correctly? Or maybe I'm not...? Lol. :)

James & IBN

Is Slurp still spidering your site deeply? In the past the most accurate way when Y! dumped you is that only your index page shows up when doind a www.search and if you look at the log files Slurp hits the robots.txt and runs away.
