Changing directory

Changing from one category to another

Hi,
I have my site listed some years back in a deep level category(US > California > frisco). Also a deep level page on my site is referred by this category. This entry happened without me paying anything years back.

Now i want the homepage of my site to be listed in a higher level category(US > California)

It it worth doing this now. Will they charge me for the change ? If i do pay will the entry be faster as i already have an existing entry
