Next Yahoo Index Update

When will it come?

Anybody have any idea when will the next major Yahoo index changes happen to the serps?

Many of us had made changes to our sites and have many backlinks and content just waiting to get indexed.

How does Yahoo proceed with serp/update index changes. How often is it updated etc....?

Please Advise.

Haven't seen a major reshuffling in over a month, I would also like to know when that will happen again as I am awaiting after some changes to my sites...

Should be soon but have been saying that for past two weeks.

We just changed all 1000 pages in our website. I have this feeling it won't do any good. :)

I am interested too.. I have a lot of work done since the last update, including purchasing a yahoo directory spot... hoping that it will have a positive effect on my SERPS

What if I removed a large number of pages, but they are still listed in Yahoo's index weeks later? Does Yahoo have a remove URL tool, I can use to manually remove them?

With all those nonexistent pages still listed, I also have not been getting any traffic from Yahoo.

The yahoo search submit via text file is too new to get much feedback regarding how well it has worked, but perhaps that might be worth trying and maybe it will help get your fresh pages into the index and remove the dead pages.

I don't suppose those dead page links could be preventing Yahoo from indexing my good pages. The dead pages could be dangerous, because they were originally script generated doorway pages that got 2 of my other sites banned from Yahoo. Fortunately, this domain escaped the banning.

I am a member of 2 different yahoogroups so I guess I would log in with that information.

Yahoo is dying a slow death in search in my view. We should stop asking when the next update will be but instead when are they going to update Slurp. That thing can't index dynamic content even it you feed it exactly what it wants.

My main keyword has not been updated since May. Don't count on Yahoo doing an update any time soon, they are ridiculously slow. Unlike Google, who do a major update about once every quarter, Yahoo just remains the same.
If I were to make a guess though, I would think we would see some movement from Yahoo sometime in October. (Hopefully for the Better)
