I sent a support request for reinclusion 24 days ago asking them directly about both sites.
In the meantime I have resubmitted them to the crawler and something interesting happened.
One of the sites now has all of it's old pagenames in the index with no content and the other has all of it's old pagenames with no content saved except for the index page.
Needless to say, with no content on the pages they are not ranking for any of their old terms.
18 months ago these two sites hosted the same content on the same ip. So is it likely that this is now somehow a belated penalty kicking in?
Has anyone has the same experience? Does yahoo my web support actually get back to you? Should I just wait? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated
Our site which had very good rankings last week, is no where today and all the cached pages seems to be missing. I presume the problem is due to the recent change in their indexing algorithm. Planned to resubmit the pages again to yahoo, as they seem to be indexed very well in msn and google. I have decided to wait and see.
do a [site:yourdomain] search and you will find all your pages. but do a [site:domain keyword] where keyword is any word that exists in all your pages such as "copyright" and yahoo will only show your pages that participate in the search.
yahoo is cheating in the name of 19billion pages!

I'm not so sure that's true.
I put in a reinclusion request yesterday. I got a response saying "we've got your email, this could take a couple of weeks," then just a couple hours later I got another one telling me to review their guidelines and submit a reinclusion request.
I checked my logs and I didn't get any visitors from Yahoo at that time (not from thier IPs). I've pretty much given up on Yahoo at this point. Quite frankly there is nothing wrong with my site. It would pass anyone's manual review process. I see so much krap they let through, it's pathetic that my site's kicking in a filter.
I did a search for some unique words on one of my pages and Yahoo returned 38 pages - all from the same site that uses a keyword generator - and from there it redirects to one of those "search engine" sites that returns a list of advertisements.
