Yahoo Directory Penalty?

We have had quite a few sites that despite being penalized in the Yahoo index results have always ranked right at the top in the Directory for years. I haven’t spent much time in the Directory in quite a while so I was surprised to find all these sites now sitting at the very end of the results; I’m talking all of them, no exceptions.

Most of these are old time, fairly high quality sites that have been in the directory for a long time, some back so far their grandfathered in on the annual fee.

Anybody else have this situation, notice a change in ranking in the Directory for an index penalized site?

(Pretty soon these guys are really going to give me an inferiority complex or something. I’m off to find the number of that therapist someone gave me.)
