But i've never conciously optimized for Yahoo.
I've reread some old stuff about Yahoo optimization and thought I'd reference some things about my site that might work.
I'd also love to hear from you what seems to be working:
Characteristics of site:
url = kywrd1kywrd2.com
heavier keyword density within pages. multiple use of main keyword phrases and stemming versions of main keywords in the content.
meta tags that tie in w/titles and keywrd density.
varied links to the site w/ no focus on site wides.
reasonably widespread usage of varied anchor text to the site.
The stuff I reread (pretty much from over a year ago) referenced on page optimization with heavier keyword density than google, stemming of the keywords.
If anything distinguishes my site from competitors that have equal age and relatively similar #'s of backlinks it is the page content.
I frankly never had an insight into Yahoo, and always felt lucky w/ high rankings there....but wanted to reread and get a feel for this with such high rankings now.
What do you see?
