I bought a new domain about 2 weeks ago and stuck a couple of pages up that I was working on the design for. With the new update the site now has 26 pages indexed. Only 2 are cached.

The site is brand spankin new and it definitally has zero links. So there are only 2 ways to them to find the site.

1. I searched for the domain name widget.com after it was launched, just for the fun on it and they track these.
2. They are using new domain info as a source of spider food.

Anyone else seen the same thing? I'm wondering if it was option one, if they are also using these domain searches to see how popular a website is. A lot of people do use the search boxes as a way to navigate the web.
