Yahoo indexing a page that no longer exists

How do I get Yahoo to index the correct pages?

I've noticed a page I made for 2 days was indexed but no longer exists. This was back in January but it's still indexed. How do I tell Y that this page no longer exists and to index the rest of the site?
Thanks

Upto my knowledge, Yahoo does not have page removal program...

I guess they just mindlessly keep seeing if the root is there and keep indexing it. I've had to make the page again with a redirect to the index. Thanks

Offhand then, I'd suggest you do what I did...make the page exist again with a redirect to the index or wherever. That way, you're not another dead link in Yahoo search.

As far as I know it you set up a 301 redirection in the htaccess file or equivalent the search engine will update there listings.
