We currently use Search Submit Express and see healthy boosts in rankings through the program (when it works). We're pondering switching to Basic, because it is currently supported and doesn't have a PPC model.
Has anyone tried both? Did you see your sites rank the same with both?
I looked into Search Submit Pro, but its 75 cents/click instead of 30, which is too high for us.
