i have used this method in the past to alert yahoo to my blog. But has anyone soley relied on this to point yahoo direct to your site? and if so did it help?
I normally send the ping twice, just incase... but has anyone tried sending it lets say... hundreds of times? and if so did you feel you were ignored/penalized for this?
