Yahoo index updates - how often?

Hi

Have got lots of new pages (about 1000) added on our website recently and have created an A to Z to list it. As well there is one random individual link to these generated daily and these are updated on yahoo. The a to z is indexed on yahoo but yahoo does not seem crawl through these from the a to z. Have got it on the site for over a month now. Seems to work fine for Google.

Any suggestions please and wondering how often and how deep does Yahoo crawl and update their indexes?

Based on my recent experience, Yahoo weather reports announcing update come every six weeks or so. I'm thinking we're going to see an annoucement before month's end.

Getting a new site and its pages into their index might be a different story.

I see an announcement from 7/19 on ysearchblog, but no one talking about it here.

I came here expecting an update news here. One of my site was getting 1 or 2 daily from yahoo, suddenly it got 10 so far now.

Any news?

I posted it as a new topic a day or two ago but the mods have not released it. Personally, I'm not seeing much of a change.

I also tried to post the update as a new topic but it was refused. I guess this forum does not want to discuss updates...someone may say something that's not complimentary about a search engine.
