Hi all,

My site has free listing at Yahoo directory. And Yahoo is showing the same title and description which we used in this in yhaoo directory listing while showing its SERPs.

As home page title and ,meta tags are different.
Why Yahoo is not showing tmy home page 's current title and description in their Serps results .

and also i want to know what factor more effect the yahoo ranking means on page optmization factor or off page optmization factors.
please suggest ,

I have the same problem. Yahoo is using a description and title for my site that hasn't been there for oh maybe 5 years...

If you don't want to show the Directory Title and Description you may add the below meta tag in your pages

<META NAME="Slurp" CONTENT="NOODP">

There is also a no Yahoo directory tag.

We had the same problem and once we added the tag to the homepage it changed about 3 days later.
