Yahoo's CTO Retires

Yahoo chief technology officer Farzad Nazem has resigned, the company revealed in a filing on Wednesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Nazem, who joined the company in 1996, said in a statement on Yahoo's website that he intends to retire. His last day is scheduled for 8 June.

Jerry Yang, Yahoo's co-founder, will replace Nazem on an interim basis.
