Understanding Yahoo's regional sites.

Its not something new that yahoo shows slightly different results between its sites.

* When I say Sites I mean .com, .co.uk, etc..

They all show different results, sometimes I even caught them playing with their algo and noticed changed being made while looking at .com and .co.uk together.

I would really like to know more information about the different "datacenters", if I can call it that way.

I find it weird for that I got for instance,
a website sitting in the US, most of its links are inside the US, all the details of registration, whois, etc.. all showup USA region.

And after all, I got a better ranking in .co.uk for my desired keywords.
