Hello Forum,

I have done quite a bit of changes to my site in the last 4 months. This has lead to significantly improved rankings in Google, who indexes my pages quickly and even the changes are updated in a very short time.

The problem I have is that Yahoo only has 1 page indexed but I am in thier directory and it shows all the pages linking to my site in site explorer, granted there are only about 1,000 but it seems to be enough for google to rank me high in very competitive keywords.

I was ranked well once upon a time under those same keywords but now without my pages indexed in Yahoo it's hard to get results.

I know Yahoo doesn't make a huge difference but i'd like to locate the problem so that I can fix it and maybe start getting indexed for Yahoo and other search engines.

Any suggestions on the matter?

Regards,

Nick

One page indexed? Sounds like a penalty to me.

That is a shame. Any idea how I can find that out for certain?

I used to have many pages indexed in Yahoo.

For what it is worth, I am actually banned. I sent them a request about my site and I got a response saying I was banned.

banned? with one pae listed and siteexplore showing your links? banned sites do not show any pages or backlinks, are you sure that it is a ban or a penelty.
also , does slurp keeps on crawling your site and many pages on it?
i find that usuallybanned sites are not being crawled but penelized sites do
