Free Yahoo Directory Listing

still being accepted for UK, Canada, Singapore & Asia?

There appear to be at least four English language Yahoo directories offering free submission of sites (UK, Canada, Singapore and Asia). I have just now submitted my site to each.

Does anyone have recent experience to verify whether Yahoo is actually accepting and listing commercial sites for free in any of these directories? Much obliged for any help.

Where did you find these? Isn't it the case that they only accept non commercial sites for free?

[asia.dir.yahoo.com...]
ditto except uk, ca and sg

Search for the category where you want to be listed, suggest a site, then you have the option of Yahoo! Express (7-Day Guarantee for $299) or Standard Free! (no time guarantee). There is no distinction posted about eligibility of commercial and non-commercial sites for free submission.

I'm curious if anyone has recent experience with the free submission of a commercial site and if it worked for them.

Speaking from my experience going back to the 2002-3 timeframe, submitted to and was accepted for free listing in australia, india, asia, canada, uk and singapore. Just checked backlinks and all directory links are still there. Site is commercial. Have no idea if free submission still works for commercial sites.
