some craigslist ads come up when I search my keywords

I posted an ad on craigslist to complement my website. When I do a search on a search engine with my keywords, other people's ads come up, even if they don't have website. But mine ad didn't come up, even though I included the search words in my ad.

I was wondering if anyone knows why some craigslists ad would come up on keyword search, even if the ad is posted the same day. I'm sure craigslist is indexed, but not sure how the individual ads are recognized that quickly by a search engine?

I would like to be sure that if I post an ad in the future that the ad shows up on a search engine search.
