all title tags gone in site explorer and rank

woke up this morning and realize most of my keywords no longer rank on yahoo. checked site explorer, 95% of the pages have no title, 5% of the pages that have title are contactus, privacy, etc.. irrevelant pages.

anyone know how to fix this?

Is all of the Yahoo traffic gone? Does the site rank for a domain search? Are all of the rankings gone from the top 100? If a page in SiteExplorer is listed with a Title tag, does the Title tag match that of the actual page, or has it been lowercased, truncated, or completely changed?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but it sounds like your site has been penalized.

I'd also go back to basics and check that your robots.txt is valid and that you didn't inadvertently block Slurp and other bots you want to allow.

agerhart, you are right on everything.

how did this happen? is there a way to revert it? I haven't made a change to anything for a while beside updating blog entries that shows on the homepage.

any help?
