Banned from Yahoo but not Image Search?

My site was banned from Yahoo shortly after they dropped Google( for having some Affiliate content) but I've been seeing unusual behavior:

Slurp usually just crawls robots.txt and the Homepage...but then every once in a while will grab another page. They never make it into the index though...

Doing a "site:mydomain.com" search on Yahoo shows only my homepage. But if I do the same search on Yahoo images it comes up with a dozen or so images from other parts of my site.
AND... I get hits from Yahoo image search to these images!

Anyone have a similar experience?
BTW, I've given up ever getting back into the Yahoo index even though we are an established (over 4 years old)site with LOTS of very useful content that Google ranks very well, including a large (>4000 member) Wigeting, widget and current event message board with tens of thousands of pages of useful content.

Hmmm... so maybe my experience is unique.

One other thing...
All but one of the images in Yahoo Image search are accessed through a perl script.
Strange.

On a couple of my sites most of the referrals are from image searches even though there is plenty of text. I would say they are penalized.

Yahoo and Google trust the sites are giving the correct image even though they don't trust the text.

Yes, I have had the exact experience over many sites. Yahoo, (and google, it seems), definitely have left banned sites within the image search.
