Change in backlinks

Anyone notice a charp reduction in backlinks?

Mine have dropped from almost 6,000 to about 2500.

No idea why. I really hope 3500 sites didn't suddenly decide to stop linking to me :)

I've seen a sharp increase in backlinks today. I wonder if it will stick?
