I am seeing major changes. With the keywords I monitor, they have eliminated the Yahoo Directory Title and Description snipet and replaced it with the ones contained in the page itself. Also, I see major repositioning. Anyone else?

Nope, still have my directory listing description.
Moved up a bit though. Almost top ten.

I definitely see some major changes. The rankings seem to go back to the old results from late 2006. Which is good for the categories I watch. The update in January definitely had some spammy sites getting rewarded. So this new update is fine with me.

if they are using old results, then prepare for a real update, cause this ain't it.

Minor in some areas, major shifts in at least a few we look at.

ditto except ;) ;) ;)

3 smileys because I was correct NOT to optimize for Yahoo! The top ten for my niche now contains 3 book listings and 3 scraped articles - including an article of mine that was scraped. That scraped article now sits pretty at #2 while my homepage is in oblivion!

Yahoo is a strange one. At each update we drop in ranks (this time around 40%) only to later on come roaring back with even more traffic than before. Anyone else see this?

Minor drop in positions for targetted kw's and some sites boost ranking.

.

thousands of pages per domain listed by URL only, nothing else - at more than 100 sites.

has anybody else seen this?

My site is too new to see the changes (launched 1st Feb). However the better Yahoo is, the better Google will become.
