maybe someone has an answer to my findings for yahoo's local search results.
I'm entering in yahoo local search the search term what I'm looking for and even entering the town and zip code to make the search more specific or called real local.
When I receive the natural search results; my firm is not shown as number 1, 2, or three; no it's shown on the bottom like on 5th or sixth place with my website and they even show the search term on my website highlighted in bold.
Now comes the hammer, the firms which are listed before mine are not even in my town or zip code and to insult one even more, don't even have a website presence.
Figure this one out.
I would accept that any one business with a website with more content or better SEO is in front of me. But someone with no website and not even from the same town ahead of a local business is beyond me. Tried to talk to yahoo, but at present time it's like getting through a stonewall.
