On a recent search for my keyword on Yahoo I saw my site at no 34. Just out of curiosity I done the same search but using uppercase. To my surprize my spot was occupied by another site. I though paybee a different server handled the request. I tried a few more time and the same spot was always occupied by my site with the term in lowercase, and another site in uppercase. My initial though was "wow yahoo are using case" so I asked another fellow member to have a look for me. he confirmed for me that he was seeing exactly the same results reguardless of case. Then I tried somethign else. I logged out of Yahoo and tried the same searches, my site was in the same position on both upper and lower case.
When logged in I had carried out that search many times and had clicked it a few times. I had searcherd for it in uppercase but never clicked the result.
This makes me think that when loged in Yahoo stores info about sites you click on, thinking they are a good match. So if you click on it it will perhaps rank it better thinking it is a site you like?
