Hi All

I have a client that has full index listings in MSN/Live and Google but in Yahoo only his domain is being indexed and cashed, no other pages from the site are being seen.

This is a Google PR 4 site that has been around for 8 years.

Anyone got any ideas as to why Yahoo doesn't seem to like this site?

Cross linking?
Paid links?
Sliced and diced content?
Could be many things.

Look into your backlinks, review your promotion strategy. There may be something aggressive (even if you may not think it's aggressive) about your promotional efforts. You know it best.

Thanks ddwebguru. Tried this and as i thought no problems showing, it is finding all text and links easily and clearly. Got a Firefox extension of the browser neat little tool. No duplicate content either. Its a real pain this one as msn and google have no trouble indexing the site at all. I have also already subd the site to yahoo, but my client tells me this has been happening for at least a year (some point within that time yahoo should have picked the site up)

classic sign of a Yahoo ban /penalty. They have extremely long memories and it's not good news, as most never get back in.
