Few weeks ago our home page was taken out of the Y!index. We waited for few days to check if it was a update or some testing of result by yahoo.
During this time our home page was taken out of the Y1 serp.

Y! is showing our directory submitted home page when we search for our domain name.

Anyone else facing this problem? Has any one solved it?
What are the steps we should take once home page is taken out of the Y! index.

thanks
Deepak

Hi,

we had a similar problem: homepage fell out of bed, some inner pages still where showing. Site-command didn't show homepage (as far as I recall)

Now, after the update it looks like the homepage is back, but only ranks when nothing else is to be found. A search for sld doesn't show homepage, but inner pages.

Not sure what they dislike, only found this by accident, since Yahoo doesn't account for much traffic, but anyway... After looking into it a bit: I had registered 4 other domains that point to the same homepage but I never linked to them or did anything else to promote them. Looks like Yahoo has indexed the homepage of one of those aux domains. It's only the homepage, because all links have the complete url of the real domain.

Maybe this single homepage that they found I-don't-know-how brought me some kind of dupe penalty. I did a redirect for all 4 domain names now and got some new links. Lets see how it works out.
