Loss of Yahoo traffic

Is this a 301 problem?

I have always been concerned with maximising my presence in Google, so When it come to Yahoo! I'm a novice. Any help from Yahoo experts would be appreciated!

Yahoo! has never provided me with a great deal of traffic but on my main site the situation has worsened and referrals are now about zero.

All pages are in the Yahoo index and caches are up to date. However the index also includes many pages which no longer exist.

In May I created three new sites and moved certain page groups from the main site to these new sites. As file and directory names were changed all the pages have 301 redirects from the main site. Probably about 160 redirects in total

Yahoo still indexes the majority of these pages as belonging to the main site, but oddly the Yahoo caches redirect to their new locations. Only a handfull of the pages on the new sites are indexed correctly.

Am I correct in assuming that I have fallen foul of a 301 redirect problem? Would it be best to remove the 301s? Or is there anything else I should look for to explain the loss in traffic?

Thanks in advance.

Anyone?

I'm thinking of removing the 301 redirects, but don't want to make the situation worse.

I have removed all the 301 redirects, but probably too late. Yahoo is no longer crawling the site, so it's going to die.:(

Anyone have any ideas as to what I can do about it?
