Does Yahoo have hard time ranking CMS sites?

We are ranking well everywhere else (Google, MSN), but no where to be found on Yahoo for certain pages with a site that is managed by a CMS. Does Yahoo not like pages produced by CMS? Why would certain pages show up and not others? This is a hospital's website, so it's a credible source. Do I have to submit these pages separately?

I use Joomla and none of the SEs have trouble picking up new pages. Yahoo used to be very slow, but for some reason actually likes my website now (they should have liked it all along).

You can have a problem if you're using session ids.

ok, I looked up the meaning of session IDs, and I think I understand.
However, I don't think our CMS uses that. It is supposedly SE friendly - no query strings with "?" in it.

Yahoo has a hard time ranking anything. They have cached pages from my site that haven't existed for years in their serps. Yet their bot slams my site 3 X more than the next legitimate search bot.

This site I'm referring to gets visited by Yahoo's bot more than any other bot, also! I can only guess that it's not reaching these pages, so I may take a look at the internal link structure and make sure there are enough ways to find these pages.
As for your site, maybe you want to do the same thing. Make sure Yahoo is finding the fresh content. Or, maybe try Search Submit Express.
