I was getting a decent amount of traffic from Yahoo for one of my sites and it seemed to be growing. I optimised my site a little better and was getting even more traffic from Yahoo and things were going well.

I decided to put some google ads on the site to make some much needed revenue back for expenses and all the hard work I had put into the site - a day later the site had disappeared from the Yahoo index! What happened? Was this to do with the google ads?

Adsense didn't take my site out of Yahoo. Can't really say more than that, could be coincidence or you may have done something to the layout when you added the adsense code.

Perhaps. I I've never had this problem before though. I've checked the code and it seems fine.

Would the new 'slup' have something to do with it?

Hmm, I have had adsense on my site for while and ranked pretty good in yahoo. Today I am no longer ranking in yahoo.

I wonder if yahoo flipped on some sort of adsense spam filter?

Not at all.

I have AdSense on NONE of our sites and am seeing some VERY strange things since last night as far as being dropped altogether?

I check manually and I am still ranking for my terms (top 10)
Alta Vista is comming back fine as well

I think it is a problem with the site: modifier .
I 'says' the site(s) are not listed (indexed), but we are right there in our ranking spots... (and getting our standar rankings back for Alta Vista)
