My site jumped markedly overnight - I'm suddenly getting significant traffic from Yahoo.

Oh, my God!

My site is terribly down from the Yahoo, maybe the sandbox?

it's what I call the Yahoo!YoYo...
Was on page #1 in March.
Went up and down between page #2 and #4 in April May.
Stayed put in June on page #3.
Went missing in July.
Now on page #5 and coming up it seems...

Yahoo!YoYo...

I'm seeing 25% of my traffic coming from yahoo. I've never had that much traffic from them... it's always been google 75%+ and trickling from the rest. I guess mainly because I wouldn't pay 299 to be in their index... still havent either.

thats what i thought, so i bit the bullet and payed the 300.00 fee. it seems to do nothing but add your site in the directory. SERPs didnt improve at all

Once you start paying you'll have to pay forever.
