My site has been around since 1999, and does absolutely amazing in Google (except for the occasional Google Bowling incident - we are in a competitive market). Until the middle of May we also did quite well in Yahoo, now we are completely gone, except for images and home page. Went from over 4000 visitors per day from Yahoo down to about 100, most from images. We are getting spidered, but about half of the page views are to robots.txt, which seems to be a clear sign of a ban.

When you do a www.myURL.com search the directory listing comes up first (We have an old free directory listing from 1999) and then second appears "400 Bad Request" for this www.myURL.com:443

Why on earth would that be happening? Could it be the cause of the ban? Or is it more likely a competitor submitted us for something? Should I try a reinclusion request or should I try to somehow get rid of that 400 Bad request?
