Hello all,

I am about 6-8 weeks post launc of a site dedicated to a very narrow field in the medical industry. the site is fully indexed in Yahoo, i.e. if I do a site: search, it shows all of the pages having been crawled and indexed.

However, when I search for the most targeted term for this particular industry, the site still doesn't show up in the first 10 pages, even though the home page is pretty solidly peppered with keywords, it's fast, and so on.

ANy thoughts why it's not in the mix yet?

What about links?

I've noticed Yahoo implementing an aging delay like Google does for any site I've released in the last year. Usually takes 12-16 weeks before you start seeing results. While you're waiting just continue to link build and by month four you'll start ranking.

Yep...same here. 2 month old site slowly getting indexed (evident by a site: search), but not ranking for it's own name. There is an aging delay it seems.

Yep, the Y! "sandbox". Be patient and keep on working on the site.
