It's said Yahoo is in talks to acquire Microsoft’s Bing search engine from the software giant, according to people familiar with the matter. This follows on from the refreshed negotiations into the ten-year search deal where Bing’s database is served to Yahoo.
The deal, which may be signed as early as today, could bring to an end Microsoft’s foray into search services.
Yahoo and Microsoft declined to comment.
