I have a large site that is banned from Yahoo. But I don't know why. It has adsense on it but apart from that, it seems clean to me. It also has a forum with 300,000 posts so its a good resource.

Is there any way I can find out why my site is banned?

Jon12345, we are in the same boat. Over 70000 URLs from our site were removed in mid-August. Our site is very relevant and has close to 1 million backlinks in the yahoo index. We emailed Yahoo and did receive a response from stating our site does not comply, but they did not provide any details as to why. Doesn't make sense as to why a site as popular as ours all of a sudden does not comply? We emailed them asking to provide some detail but have not heard back. I doubt we will hear from them. We feel your pain. Anyway, Good luck.

Have you ever listed your site in Inktomi? There's a pretty clear patten that former Inktomi sites get penalised by not being listed in the free listings.

That is a falsehood.

its NOT falsehood for me!

Every site I had PFId into inktomi vanished when Y! took over inktomi and changed to sitematch! Thats been months ago and those particular sites have plenty of quality links that should have gotten it indexed by now! They arent so I have to assume its a do not index ban since I didnt transfer (buy into) sitematch!

All my other sites which had not been PFId in still remain!

I've seen the same thing. Former Ink PFI pages that didn't pay for Yahoo Site Match : doomed, all of them.
