Paid Inclusion Scam?

Is this a scam?

This company offers to get you on yahoo etc. and charge more than the paid inclusion prices you can get on Yahoo site match ( I believe that is what they call it). It looks like they are just charging you more than you would get if you just submitted your url yourself.

They said their feeds are better? They are saying their feeds get better rankings?

Does anyone know if this is true? Some companies get priority feeds to Yahoo that are in the natural search results and are different than what Yahoo offers?

Don't bother with that, it's rubbish they just want to con you out of your money.

Unless they are charging you a management fee to do the work of submitting your URLs, then you might as well do it yourself.

They could mean XML feeds, in which case they're not necessarily talking nonsense ;-)

These can be useful for large dynamic sites that have problems getting indexed "normally" and where SEOing the whole site would be cost-prohibitive.

Or so I've been told....

If they are talking Site Match Xchange, then that is the equivalent of the old Inktomi Trusted Feed program.

Doesn't sound like to me this is the program they are talking about.
