Getting back into Yahoo, any suggestions?

My site has been recently dropped out of the yahoo index.

Does anyone have any suggestions about any ways on how to get back into the yahoo index?

Or has anyone else had this problem and how long did it take them to get back in?

Try writing to [e-mail]

However, yahoo has a problem with penalized sites and it's very very very hard to get them back in.

WHY are sites being penalized?

Any solid / proven answers as to why?
