I have multiple domains in the exact same situation. I went so far as to disable all of my extra domains. Unfortunately, Yahoo has taken more than two months, and they still haven't removed them.
Last week I filled out the comment form that is linked to from the bottom of the Yahoo SERPs pages, and I received a reply a couple of days later from Yahoo saying that they will delete my old domains. I haven't seen it yet, but hopefully that will fix my problems.
I think Yahoo could really help how they are perceived by their users if they could solve this multiple domain problem. I see so many bad links in their SERPs that its mind-boggling.
Using a 301 redirect from the extra domain to the real domain is supposed to fix the problem, but that never help me with Yahoo.
Good luck.
The problem you are having may be due to the fact that your misspelled domain is using a 302-Moved Temporarily redirect to send visitors to your correct domain name. A 302 tells search engines *not* to update the URL in their database.
You can check this yourself using the WebmasterWorld server headers checker [webmasterworld.com].
Yahoo is known to be having problems with redirect handling, but for your purposes, you should use a 301-Moved Permanently redirect to minimize problems with other search engines (and with Yahoo, when they get their problems fixed).
