Webrank?

Didn't Yahoo offer a toolbar with their own PR feature? I think it was called WebRank. What ever happened to that?

I think it was ones in betafase in there toolbar. I also looked for it but could not find it. :-(

They must have ditched it. I never got a reading from it, even on big-name sites.

The reason I was asking is because I had this toolbar on my old machine, and I don't have the installer to put it on my new machine. The old one was shipped off. (That'll teach me to OPEN instead of SAVE AS!) Oh well... I never really had it work for me either.

I did however like to watch it to see if I could get any readings. I was thinking that they had scuttled the program, because it never seemed to take off.

I still get readings on mine. It does not always work though.

I installed the latest version with Anti-Spy a week or so ago on a new machine...can't seem to locate the Webrank thing on this version. (V:5.5.5.0)

Unfortunately I didn't save as. I don't even remeber if I was given the option.

They only offered it for a certain number of users. I had initially installed it but changed PCs and needed to re-install it and wasn't able to get it back.

Looks like if you were able to install it and get in on the beta program you were one of the luck ones.
