page index count method no longer working

site:http://example.com doesn't work any more

Used to be able to see how many of a site pages were indeexed with this, but it stopped working about a week ago. site:example.com still works, but it always returned a smaller number of pages for me, and still does. Anybody know anything about this?

I am having the same problem, but now it is showing many more pages than it should be. I would be interested to hear from anyone out there as well.

site:example.com returned about 1/2 the pages of a large site [1200+ pages] I do. It also returned the pages from a separate site on a subdomain of that site, which was interesting.
